At the barrelroom: pours blackish with beige head. Aroma is funk, chocolate and coffee. Roasty chocolate and a lot of sourness. Lingering aftertaste. Powerful body. Slight vanilla notes. Quite large. Good.

750ml corked bottle, 2011 project. Sweet dark fruit aroma with notes of red wine, roasted malt, bourbon, chocolate and oak. Pours dark caramel colored with a thin light brown head that has no retention or lacing. Starts with sweet dark fruit, chocolate, roasted malt and a bit of spice with a full mouthfeel and a still lively mouthfeel. Finishes dry and smooth with bourbon, oak and lots of red wine flavor and character. Complex and hides the booze excellently. Wonderful!

Taster at McLadden’s Northampton. Pours black with a khaki head. Leaves trace lacing. Lots of fruit and tart notes on the nose. Lots of sour action on the tongue which seems really fruity though there’s some bourbon and chocolate on the edges. It’s doesn’t seem like it’s anywhere near a 12 percenter.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2017 I dont know how someone can’t enjoy this beer. Really by far the best sour I have ever had. Nice is light barrel light brett. Aroma dark fruit grape juice some very light funk. Tart on the tongue but still balanced. Nice head that fades. Taste is all over the place. Fruity sour sweet light barrel. If you can pull ever flavor out of this beer you now can rate ever sour and imperial stout out there. Porter? Well I guess not very hoppy. But really amazing. Wow Incredible!

Cybercat (5962) - Georgia, USA - JUN 17, 2017
Pours opaque dark chocolate with a thin tan head. Aroma delivers strong, tart berry and bourbon character with woody and shy malty notes attendance. Flavor presents berries, bourbon and wood plus a bit of toasted malt. Mouthfeel offers firm, fairly viscous body of not a lot of fizz. Let it plague you.

Draft: Pours dark brown with little head, boozy aroma, taste is tart, kinda harsh, sour, acidic, a touch boozy, good but too much
