Medium brown pour. Aroma is mild sour like sweet tarts. Pretty sweet with minor sour flavor. Good but expensive.

Zymurgeist2 (2434) - Redwood City, California, USA - DEC 28, 2017
Draught at Gourmet Haus. This is such an interesting beer. When you search deep, you really taste and smell the nuances of the imperial porter in there. The sourness takes some getting used to in the porter, but it really becomes a nicely complex beer.

4.3
Capa (3617) - DC, Washington DC, USA - DEC 10, 2017
Dark. Figs, dark, bourbon, booze, oak, brown sugar, and a good chuck of sour dryness. Sontasty.

@ BCBF 2017 Really nice and complex smell. Some chocolate and roast. Same in taste. Sour and chocolate blend perfectly. Great stuff.

[9671-20171020] Cask. Nice sweet roasted woody fruity aroma. Hazy, dark brown black body with a quick foamy off-white head. Has a fruity sour and tropical plum flavour. Full body. Delicious. (8/4/9/4/17) 4.2
(Cask Days 2017 @ Brickworks, Toronto, ON)

jercraigs (11071) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 29, 2017
2017-10-20. Dark brown black body, headless. Aroma of modest bourbon and light fruit, tangy. Flavour is lovely with a good amount of bourbon up front followed by vinous tart fruit character. Average plus smooth bodied palate, soft carbonation. Wow. 7-8/3-4/8-9/3/16-18 Cask Days 2017, Toronto.

Incredible flavour profile. On tap at Birreria Volo. Bold taste, spices, bourbon. It all works. Academy award of a top and unique beer. Full mouthfeel.

portableparty (2398) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 7, 2017
On tap at Bricks in Blaine. Pours black brown with a tight quick khaki head that leaves a thin film. Aroma is sour fruit and malt with bourbon showing itself. Taste is sour acidic fruit rotten and malt try’s to balance it out with more bourbon presence. Palate is medium mouthwatering and dry. Good interesting beer.

3.7
mansquito (7127) - Nueva York, New York, USA - AUG 31, 2017
At the barrelroom: pours blackish with beige head. Aroma is funk, chocolate and coffee. Roasty chocolate and a lot of sourness. Lingering aftertaste. Powerful body. Slight vanilla notes. Quite large. Good.

3.6
