One Way or Another 2016 A project designed in collaboration with our friends at Bruery Terreux, One Way or Another is a blend of sour triple ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 16 months with regional ingredients: Oregon marionberries and California Meyer lemons. With each brewery crafting their own blend, this limited offering illustrates how a single recipe can be interpreted One Way or Another.

Tide (4496) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 2, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2017 Draught at the taproom. Crimson color, minimal pink head. Sour taste with berries, lemon, oak, tart, wheat and grass. Sour finish with lemon, berries, wheat, oak and grass. Very nice sour ale.

Sampled at GABF 2017 with Paul and Larry. Pours a deep reddish body with bubbled lace. Nose is tart acidic fruits. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with assertive tart character, acid, raspberries, additional fruits, oak and general funk character.

Draft at Pizza Port OB. Pours clear burgundy with almost no head. Tastes like lemon, like, herbs, cracker malt, and tart berry. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like yeast, cracker malt, lemon, berry, and herb.

750ml bottle pours a purple color without much head. Jammy marionberry fruitiness. Zesty lemon sourness. Delicate.

750 c&c from Bine & Vine. Pours hazy red berry with a transient pink head. Aroma is berry with a light spurt touch suggesting citrus. Med + body. Flavor is moderately sour lemon and red berry. Marionberry works. Fairly dry and somewhat acidic, wood is hard to detect til the berry wears away. Very drinkable. Nice flavor change.
