Classic and delicious velvety smooth chocolate stout. Medium bodied and smooth, aroma of sweeter dark chocolate and cocoa, flavor much the same. Doesn’t so anything different, just does it well." maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Draught. Pours a near black color with a very small tan head on it. Nose is nicely roasty with some pleasant chocolate elements to it. Taste is fairly roasty and slightly sweet, with some chocolate in there. Really quite a great drink, which I enjoy. Brentv (683) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 29, 2014
On tap at the brewery’s Raccoon Lodge. Black pour with off-white head. Chocolate aroma. Taste is chocolate, roasted malts, neither too bitter nor too sweet. Medium mouthfeel. Very smooth. Easy to drink and an enjoyable beer. riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JAN 18, 2013

On tap at Cascade, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, feint dark fruits and some oats. Flavour of dry, mild cocoa, more prominent oat notes and a bit of espresso. Pretty light-bodied, characterized by the oats and dry cocoa. Pretty solid stuff, albeit a bit thin.
