Pretty average winter warmer, with some nice touches. Pours a. Ice Amber with a tan head. Smells of orange and nuttiness. Taste has orange, nuts, a bit of cinnamon and banana. Had on tap at Racoon Lodge. slowrunner77 (11912) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 28, 2014
Cascade sells themselves short with their non-sour stuff. It’s usually better than they think. This is one of my least favorite of their beers, and it’s still pretty dang nice. Maybe too much spice for me...covers the malty goodness and the body just a touch, but a good winter warmer maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAR 8, 2014
Draught. Pours an amber color with a moderate head on it. Nose is definitely malt forward, with some caramel and bread notes in there. Taste is fairly dry, though you can get the nice malt flavors coming through. Not a bad drink at all. andrewje41 (3741) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - MAR 7, 2014

Draft at sb. Pours a murky dark brown with a loose white head. Lots of sharp dark malty notes; black bread with a bunch of toasty malt, brown bread, slightly overcooked toast. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Toasty, bready, crusty, mid palate with dark molasses. Long earthy finish.

The flavor is a nice clean mellow British Ale with only a hint of heat, bready, a nice fruity hop balance. Some toffee and caramel. Good. Gription79 (2886) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - DEC 27, 2013
