jredmond (8645) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 28, 2012
Bottle pour at blind tiger with streets and Brendan. Pours a deep hazy red with no head, light lacing. Aroma is sour fruit, sour wood, and nice acidity. Mouthfeel is medium, carbonated and tart with notes of slightly mouth-puckering fruits, sour cherry, light white grapes and oak. Very, very nice.

sonnycheeba (6342) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 4, 2017
Tap at BLAH. Pours dark brown/red. Aroma and flavor are huge blackberry, lactic acid, faint balsamic, faint strawberries, faint oak, and dry, pale malt base. Light/medium body.

snoworsummer (6071) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 4, 2017
Draft at BLAH. Pours murky red/nut brown with a bubbly beige head. Tastes like tart lemon, berry, red wine, woody malt, and vinegar. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like berry, red wine, booze, and vinegar.

mabel (9787) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 1, 2017
[9621-20170923] Bottle. Fruity red toasted barrel berry aroma. Hazy, dark red body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Soured fruity berries and toasted barrel fruit flavour. Medium-full body is sour. Good. (7/3/9/4/15) 3.8

jercraigs (10886) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2017
2017-09-23. Red tinged dark brown body, modest head. Aroma has big fruity character, there is a heaviness to it that I think stems from the combination of bourbon and dark fruit, but it's not necessarily a distinctly/prominent bourbon character. 7++ Flavour is similar, weighty dark fruit, cherry, tart acidity around the edges grows and linger in the finish. Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. 3+ Solid, but more of a sipper than the more quaffable Noyaux that preceded it. 7/4/7-8/3-4/17 2015 Bottle sample. Zwanze Day at Volo, Toronto.

Idiosynkrasie (7970) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - SEP 25, 2017
750ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, brown-ish crimson colour with small, frothy, fading, beige head. Bourbon aroma, hints of vanilla, underlying fruity notes of morello and red berries. Taste is agressively sour, lactic, notes of vinegar, hints of morello. Nothing I need a second time, least of all considering the brewery's overprize politics.

Erasmus_ro (3174) - Alabama, USA - SEP 20, 2017
Tap @ Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 14/09/17. Quite sour, some balsamico, red berries, vanilla and wood fairly strong.

MarcoDL (5383) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 5, 2017
Draft at beertemple. Black pour. Aroma of tart red fruit, vanilla, oak and lacto. Taste has sour red fruit, oak, tart, lacto acid, red grapes and a sour finish. Nice, but too rough.

crazy_cat_lady (705) - - AUG 25, 2017
Bottle at Wvrst. Big aroma of sour cherry, oak, hints of basalmic vinegar. I could smell this from several feet away while it was being poured. Warm dark brown with reddish tones, very little head. Tastes of tart sour cherries, oak, some vinegar notes. Awesome.

Hoprider (743) - DENMARK - AUG 16, 2017
Pours a clear crinsom or ruby colour with a beige lightly frothy head. The aroma has vinous notes from the winebarrel. Christmas spices, lots of vanilled oak and sour cherries. So many things going on. Tannic vinegary notes as well. Taste is rich with a big sour kick to counter the sweeter fruity notes. Long tannic aftertaste. Like it lots.

cmacklin (1306) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 13, 2017
750ml corked bottle. 2015 vintage. (9.9% ABV) Pours an unclear dark ruby with lots of sediment floating around and a small, fizzy, short lived, tan head that fully dissipates. Tart aroma of cherry, red wine, balsamic vinegar, oak and a hint of bourbon. Sweet flavour of cherry, red grape, red wine, balsamic vinegar and oak with a dry, sour, acidic, alcohol finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A decent sour red, plenty of pucker power. The bourbon was a little too subtle IMO.
