Dark brown. Nice pumpkin spiced aroma. Sips full almost stout like, but very smooth. Nice carbonation bite. Mildly dry finish that compliments the fall flavors and swertness. Nice brew.
Tap at the brewery. Dark pour, brown highlights, some fine head. Chocolate and squash aroma. Thin mouthfeel and watered-down flavor of ash and ginger with bits of stale chocolate. I might do just fine with a bottle of this one on its own, but up against the Cascade sour lineup it simply is not in the running. mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 20, 2013
On tap at Cascade, pours an opaque dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out subtle pumpkin notes, light cocoa and a touch of toasted malt. Flavour brings out lots of pumpkin, atop some dry light cocoa notes and a touch of roast. Very well-constructed, with a good balance, just not my thing. daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Deep brown pour, light brown head. Loads and loads of spice up front, some roasted pumpkin flavors, and flavors of molasses. pdx76 (651) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 27, 2013
On draught at cascade raccoon lodge - pours very dark amber with little head. Nose of roasted coffee and chocolate. Taste is dominated by roasted coffee with hints of smoked pumpkin and chocolate. Nice warming beer to drink by the fireplace.

On draught at Raccoon Lodge. Deep brown, nearly black. Aroma is cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, chocolate, pumpkin, and corn. Taste is rustic spiced pumpkin with chocolate and nut notes. Not too heavy, malt, spice, and pumpkin lingers. douglas88 (9570) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 26, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a mostly clear brown color with a medium tan head. The aroma is a light spicy brown malty mix. The flavor is light coffee, some roast, light spices, nothing clearly pumpkin, a bit of vanilla. Quite a nice medium strength porter.
