COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light farmhouse ale is our offering for this year’s festival, the 4th Annual Portland Cheers to Belgian Beers. We have aged it for 3 months in white port barrels which were previously used to aged our Noyeaux. This is a nice crisp sour beer with a trace of influence from the Noyeaux.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with large creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong grape and yeast. Thin mouth, light tartness, vinous, yeast, light dry finish, very good.

Live barrel poured at the Sixgill for Cascade night. Cascade just gets it. Pours an apple juice color with almost no head. Orange, tangerine like aroma. Flavor is pucker up tart up front with some apple and tangerine. Sour flavor sticks around forever. Great beer overall.

Slightly hazy, blonde, oaky vinous front, with tartness, tart, apricot/peach fruitiness and moderate acidity. Really nice balance. Refreshing tart wheaty finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is hazy yellow with a big white head and good lacing. Funky, yeasty, citrusy, urine, lemony, herbs, and basil in the aroma. Taste is sour lemons, biscuit dough, oaky, light pepper, and pears with a lightly sour finish. Light body with medium carbonation. Pretty good.

At cascade brewpub with Taylor, Stephen, and Dina. Pours neon orange small layer of head. Aroma is Mellon, light fruits, light acidity, white grapes. Taste is light and drinkable, citrus fruits, savory, white wine, some acidity, but it works. I like it a lot, it’s a nice light tasty beer, but again I am concerned about the amount of acidity to drink a lot if it.

Dark in color light thin head. Light barrel aging flavors hints of wine and sour flavors from the yeast. This was a easy tasting light sour beer.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours pale clear yellow with a white head. The aroma has heavy wine and barrel notes. there is also a good amount of spice and sweetness that’s balanced nicely. It has a medium crisp body with some light gentle carbonation. The flavor starts off with gentle pale malt, crisp grape sourness, light gentle oak, raspberries, boysenberry, apricot and spice. The finish is crisp, peppery and wine barrel heavy. Great beer.
