Reminds me of honey lemon ginger tea in India. Fairly tart but not sour. Very drinkable beer. bulldogops (2490) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 4, 2016
Rating #1642 - #CBC2015 Beer 27 - Day 2 - On tap at Cascade. Aroma is Brett, Ginger. Pours a clear golden with a slightly bubbly white cap. Light-medium body, medium carbonation. More sweet ginger, tart lime zest, honey malt in the flavour, finishes with a little ginger heat and more than a little Brett punch. Nice. hivemind (914) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 19, 2015
Had it at Cascade with Erica and Matt, Aug 2014. Top-heavy yellow pour with whispy white head. Heavy ginger notes with some lime acidity on the way down. Interesting beer, would like to try again. Erica still talks about how it was the best beer she’s had. Becoming a myth. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - DEC 13, 2015
Draft on tap at the Cascade Barrelhouse (Portland, OR). Pours a nice glowing. Amber orange hue, decent haziness, mellow glow and frothy offwhite creamy head atop. A decent ringer and sufficient lacing throughout. Aromas are tart and lactic, a gentle yet growing ginger appeal meets that subtle softened honey sweetness. Sour lemon, lactic twang and bitter lime rind and fruit press on. A touch sweeter but the lime seems to combat that immediately. I think this nose really works well. Initial is medium bodied, a touch sweeter as that honey addition makes itself known. Fruity, subtle vanilla, yogurt tartness and mellow lactic appeal meet some sweetness, spice and earthiness. Subtle vanilla, honey and middling bready appeal, subtle oak and rye meet that ginger that grows slowly but becomes something to reckon with. The lime falls behind for me, losing itself and ending up focused on spice and some gentle honeygrye appeal in front of a more mellow lactic appeal, fun nose, solid pour but a beer that doesnt necessarily work for me in flavor and flow. Tap at the brewery. a strong ginger flavor was a the forefront, and stood out the most in this beer. Flavors of lime, honey, and graham cracker were also present. Good beer. Reminiscent of a ginger beer mixed with a tart key lime pie.

Tap at the barrel house. Another awesome beer. This one quite unique. Hazy golden yellow pour with a clingy white head. Ginger explodes on the aroma. Then the lime, which itself comes out more on the taste. Smooth soft palate with some creaminess and sweetness. Damn, this is excellent. Cloudy golden yellow with a smallish white head and minimal lace. Heavy ginger and light lime create a Snapple-like sensation. Not a favorite. DuffMan (10278) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 7, 2015
On tap @ the brewery, RBSG. Cloudy orange amber, intense lime and fresh ginger, a touch soapy, some sweetness to balance the tart/sour. Excellent. gnoff (10241) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUL 5, 2015
Sampled on June 29, 2015. At the brewpub in Portland.bytemesis (8250) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUN 27, 2015
2014 version, listed as 7.5% ABV.
Cloudy golden color, white head. Sweet, ginger, lemon, lime taste. Lime aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, no bitterness. Lime, sweet, fresh scent.
Tap. Pours hazy golden, large creamy off white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is heavy ginger and lime, as advertised :). Flavor is pretty out there, honey ginger and lime are all apparent. Minimal sourness, just a hint. Some residual sugar as well contributes to medium sweetness.. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Tasty.
