3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Cascade.
A: Pale straw color with very thin lacing.
N: Honey, predominant lime, and ginger ale. Not complex, but as advertised. Lactic sourness.
T: Lemon and lime like 7up. Ginger is melded well. A little spiciness from the rye. Green apple candy. This is very much like a wine cooler.
M: Somewhat spritzy and sticky.
O: Is what it says. Very refreshing, like alcoholic soda. ne of the best things I’ve had from Cascade.
Light amber, bubbly head. Big ginger aroma. Taste is strongly ginger, bit sweet in the finish, but not a lot of lime.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Smells a bit of citrus and clearing product level citrus aromas. Medium bodied, sweet right away, and unexpectedly so, wood, soft fruit, lemon and honey sweet. Soft lime,

Keg @ Cascade. Deep gold with a small head. Strong gingery boss. Lime zest. Honey. Title’s accurate, then. Flavor is fairly sweet with some prominent ginger spiciness. Sort of flabby. Light carb. Oily.

Not normally a fan of tart beers, but this is quite good. Pours a cloudy orange. Smells great, honey and ginger. Taste is lots of ginger upfront, followed by lime and honey in the finish. Not super sour, but a nice smooth tart. Had on tap. chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 5, 2016
On tap at the Cascade brewpub: 2015 version at 6.8% ABV in July 2016.
Aroma: ginger and lime dominated aroma is moderately appealing despite making a subtle suggestion of household cleaning products. Bitter-sweet with a near even balance, at least for a sour..
Well crafted and exceptionally refreshing, this is the easiest drinking sour I can remember.
Golden-amber body with a lasting off-white head that leaves patterned sticky lacing on the snifter.
Overall: excellent version of the style. vulcanmeister (291) - La Grande, Oregon, USA - JUN 30, 2016
Poured at 2016 Eastern Oregon Beer Festival. So good, fantastic powerful flavor, a bit sour but that just enhanced all the flavors coming through. luttonm (6634) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 13, 2016
