Aroma is nice and rich. Color seems spot on, taste is good but nothing out of the ordinary. Middle of the road brown ale.

12oz bottle. Rating #40. Clear, dark brown pour with a light beige head. Light sweetness, mild toasted aroma. Flavor has a bit more to it than the aroma, nutty with a bigger toasted presence and a bit of caramel in the finish, pretty tasty stuff. 355ml bottle pours brown in color with a 2 finger off-white head that settles down to produce some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and light roasted malts with a hint of chocolate. Taste is light roasted malt bitterness with some caramel sweetness followed up with a mild hoppy bitter finish. Medium body with light carbonation. One of the better brown ales I have tasted over the years. Nikiel (879) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 27, 2011
Bottle with Carla. Pours a very bubbly light brown/red with large white bubbles. Smells lightly sweet of caramel. Tastes very sweet with hints of chocolate, caramel and light bitterness.
