Amber, almost brown with a frothy white head and nice lacing. Caramel and some roast. Flowery hops with some citrus. Slightly nutty. Nice tones of caramel and roast. Earthy and nutty with just a touch of bitterness. Nice palate with a malt finish.

12 oz bottle shared with my buddy Nick. Light brown pour with a small tan head. Aroma is caramel malt with some slight roast and chocolate. Flavor pretty much identical, the caramel malt being the most prominent feature. Slightly dry finish.

Poured reddish brown with minimal head and some lacings. Sweet aroma, brown sugar.
Taste is sweet malts, brown sugar, toasty. Hops are a minor player but nicely bitter. Good dry finish. Overall pretty good example of the type. Will try a draft version sometime.
