Portland, Or - John’s Marketplace - 12 oz bottle. Murky, dark golden pour with a soft white head that leaves a fair trace of lacing. Fruity aroma with a hint of spearmint and spruce. Flavor has a nice fruity essence to it with nectarines being the most prominent. Bitter grapefruit notes in the back end with a hint of butter. Sticky mouthfeel. Very enjoyable and refrreshing after a day at Mount Rainier. reebtogi (6267) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 21, 2012
355ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a 2 finger white head that settles to a few spots of lace. Aroma is a lovely bouquet of floral and citrus hops and light caramel. Taste is light malty sweetness with a hint of pine and light citrus hop bitterness. Flavors are balanced nicely with a light body and adequate carbonation. A pretty decent pale ale. authenticmead (69) - West Coast, Oregon, USA - FEB 14, 2011
12 oz bottle from: mainbrew.com
Visual: Pours a clear deep gold to light amber. Frothy white head with good lacework.
Nose: Citrusy hops and caramel and biscuit malt fragrance.
Palate: Light to medium body, a touch of touch of bready sweetness which balances the moderate citrusy hops.
Conclusion: A good all around everyday pale ale. Nothing to exciting here, but at the same time, no real flaws to speak of.

Draught at the brewhouse in Redmond. Clear gold with a lasting white head. The aroma is a bit like cleaner, with some pine, grapefruit, and lemon. Medium bitterness with toasty malt and light citrus flavors. Medium-light body. Drinkable. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - AUG 28, 2009
biscuit malt aroma with some some sunny dry hops, light all around. clear watery gold, bare minimum head. i agree with glkaiser here, it’s very light and somewhat lacking. Small amounts of shortbread dough, not much else to notice.

Pours a golden color with a thin layer of foam. Light aroma of peach and citrus hops. The taste is balanced with light malt and some fruity esters. It comes across as a bit too thin and lacking some flavor, even for 5.1% ABV. But, it’s a fine beer to crack after a hike up a mountain. IrishBoy (4199) - Bakersfield, California, USA - APR 12, 2009
Sample taster at John’s Market Place. Nose of flowery hops with a touch of caramel and pine. Clear yellow with a small white head. Flavor has some bitterness with the caramel. 19Ei8hty (1166) - Washington, USA - JAN 22, 2009

Draft @ 7th St Brewhouse, Redmond, OR. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a malty pine hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty hoppy piny flavor. Has a slightly sweetish malty pine hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - DEC 8, 2008
Pale gold pour with a middling head. Aroma is a mixture of malt and hop with a bit of a floral scent thrown in for good measure. Pretty decently hopped for an APA, but the flavor is a bit muddy and there is definite room for improvement.
