Deep hazy straw body. Lots of carbonation. Immense banana nose. Big grainy wheat malt backbone that provides a solid foundation for the clove spice. Peach sweetness with lemons notes. anders37 (26257) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 20, 2008

(Draft at the brewpub Bend) Pours hazy orangey gold with a big white foamy head.
Aromas of banana and citrus (lemon) and wheat bread. This is decidedly not an American-style wheat.
Light-bodied, crisp and clean. There’s a bit of sweetness mixed with the tangy finish which I found a little unusual. Best wheat beer in the Bend area.

[Draft - Bend, Oregon] A nice darker golden color brew hazy in the apperance and had a nice head. A deep wheat flavor and a hint of banana and cloe in the flavor and nose. This was a great brew to drink I liked it. No lemon needed this was a beer with some flavor. ABUSEDGOAT (2734) - California, USA - NOV 6, 2006
Pale golden. Aroma is very wheaty with notes of lemons, bananas, bread and more wheat. Nice tart finish. This one offered way more than the American wheats from the other 2 Bend brewers I visited. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - MAR 21, 2006
A very light version of this style, it really needs alot more body and maltiness. Zingy lemony acidity, light bodied and very clean, with some light banana flavors. Could be alot better. Murphy (1759) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 3, 2005
GABF 2005. Pale yellow, too clear for the style. Light bananna bread aroma. Taste is orange citrus, slilght bitters. Finish has some off acidity. DarkElf (3062) - La Jolla, California, USA - AUG 26, 2005
(Draft: Seventh Street Brewhouse in Redmond, OR) Spicy and wheaty nose, with modest banana and clove, this seems like a far cry from the typically bland American wheat beers. The flavor features a moderate wheat base, mild citrus, a light spiciness and a hint of banana. Light bodied, but clean and refreshing on this hot Oregon day. Pale straw color, hard to get much paler, somewhat cloudy in appearance, with a slowly-fading snow white head, and patchy lacing on the glass. Light and easy to drink, but a quality wheat beer.
