AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JAN 30, 2012
Clear golden color with white foam. Light berry fruit, aged pale malt aromas. medium bodied. Lightly sweet berry fruit flavors with some lagered maltage, no peat or smoke though--decent enough TheRealMGD (555) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Tap at PW. Clear gold pour, short white head leaving minimal lace. Nose lightly fruity and has a trace of peat. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Light peat, white bread, almonds, wheat malt and light fruit. Finish is sweet, nutty and fairly short. Nicely done, but a bit light at the finish. No acetyl aromas as described in the other ratings - I think QC may be a problem on this one? Oakes (18199) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 11, 2012
Golden with thin head. The aroma is a bit buttery. Body is light and the taste is just a vague maltiness, hint of acidity and whiff of smoke. This just didn’t work out. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 10, 2012
Draft @ Brouwers. Clear warm gold . Diacetyl taints the aroma. The palate too is sticky and annoying. There is good stuff hidden like nice peat on a campfire expression but is not well made. No balance. No discernible malt char no hops. Way too buttery. Popcorn butter on palate. Disappointing!
