Clear dark orange to red beer, no head. Aroma: lovely fruity smell first, then sourish, vinegar, bit funky, a dirty touch as well. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sourish start, lemon juice, some tannins, lots of fruit, thinking about raspberries (I didn’t know what was in the beer when I drank it). Aftertaste: dirty touch, lemony, fruity. Wow, a Cascade I actually rather enjoyed. :p

2014 vintage. 3 oz pour at Hops & Pie. Peachy orange appearance with a white head. Aroma of sweet cherries, sour funk and light oak. Similar flavor, adding more oak, light vanilla and moderate sourness. Medium body, finishing with just a hint of bourbon. Excellent. bytemesis (8357) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 9, 2016
Bottle, 2011 project, thanks to Homer! Pours clear apple red, small pink head, dissipates leaving a ring with decent lacing. Aroma is bourbon and cherry, lemon, oak. Flavor is light plus tart, pretty funky, oak tannins and horseblanket. Medium body, hints of lactic acidity at the end, along with loads of dusty musty funk. Guessing this one funked up while in the cellar, but I am not complaining. ABV perhaps comes through in the far finish, but for the most part this is a dangerous beer.
