Draft at Oedipus fest. Aroma of bourbon, cherry, booze, vanilla and tart. Rich flavor of sour cherry, soft vanilla, more sourness and some tart strawberry. Liked it. chinchill (4939) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 5, 2016
2014 edition on tap in June 2016 at the brewpub in Portland.
Lovely red-orange body that sparkles with highlights and is covered by a fine white head. High level of tartness that goes well with the boozy (whisky) and fruity Some significant cherries in the aroma elevate the aroma well above an average sour. PotjeBier (3218) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 4, 2016

Sampled from tap at the Oedipus International Beer Festival 2016. Clear, pinkish amber with a white head. Sourish-fruity aroma of rhubarb, hibiscus, rose hip and some orange. Moderately sour, fruity taste of rhubarb, hibiscus, rose hip and some orange, followed by a short, slightly tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent and a little astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

A reddish pink copper ale with a thick creamy lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet tart maraschino cherry with light Brett, light lactic notes, light Epsom salts, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a beautiful complex mix of sweet maraschino cherry with tart cherry, light Brett notes, light horse blanket, very nice and complex, yet sweet and pleasant. On tap at Phantom Carriage. 750 cc from Whole Foods PM and Wegmans. Pours hazy ruby with fizzy, white head. Nose is earthy cherry, mild oak, spice. Tastes of cherry, oak, mild spice, and a tart finish. Delicious. Mep3222 (1544) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - MAY 26, 2016
Lactic sour, cherry, oaky Woody, dry tannic aroma. Very clean, not funky. Taste has all the same with some slight bourbon flavors in the finish, but they are subdued. All the flavors work so well together and are so balanced. Sour maybe 6 or 7 of 10, not overly sour (but still pretty sour), perfectly balanced. Get a little more Woody bourbon vanilla flavors as I drink more, but still slight bourbon. Dry fermented cherry, not sweet. So good. One of the top cascade sours. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Bacterial (2986) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - MAY 24, 2016
Draft at Republic - so nice to have Cascade in Minnesota finally! Beautiful dark pink pour with slight white lacing. Jammy cherry nose. Big tart cherry bomb, but with much more depth than some of Cascade’s sours: cherry skin, light bourbon sweetness in the finish. Legit. ippopotamo36 (2356) - Rome, ITALY - MAY 10, 2016
