Growler from GOT. Cherry red pour. Sour cherry, blackberry aroma. Taste is tart berries, not overly sweet. Very good balance of tart and sweet. corby112 (2813) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 13, 2010
Pours a dark cherry red/ plum color with slight mahogany edges and a one finger frothy pinkish head that slowly fades into a lasting ring. Sporadic spots of lacing are left behind.
Slight funky with some earthy bArnyard notes and subtle lactic presence in the nose. Lots of dark fruit notes, especially blackberry, sour dark cherries, etc.
Slightly puckering mouthfeel that’s only a bit acidic with some funky earthy character. Dark fruit notes are prominent and haven’t been taken over by the sour/funk. Lots of juicy Blackberry, sour dark cherry, raspberry and grape. Very vinous and pretty drinkable considering how tart it is. Dry finish. redlight (2325) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JAN 7, 2010
growler shared by godofthunder. Aroma reminds me of a pinot noir, raspberry, blackberry, black cherry with a tartness. Pours red with a thin white head. Tart fruit, sour raspberry, blackberry, hints of tart strawberry as well, there;s a hint of sweetness but finishes very dry. Great sour session. t4h2c0 (96) - seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 29, 2009
pours a redish purplish color with pinkish head, aroma a red wine and some some notes. Dry, acidic, upfront sour that tingles your tongue. Aftertaste of blackberries and other fruits. Strong on the palate and is almost overwhelming on the tastebuds. There are some nice woody/oak flavors going on but goes down very easy. Drinkable for being over 8%. Start to finish a great beer, very clean, well rounded, and full of flavor. CheersMate (1343) - Portland (Sellhood), Oregon, USA - DEC 22, 2009
On tap at UBER. Rick decided to tap this keg as we brought him some bottles for Georgia. Nice red head on this thing. A lovely red color that just impresses the hell out of me. Nice sour fruity and funky blackberry flavor. That red head is just crazy. A nice sublte pink/red head. Served in a flute. The aroma is very sour with a nice funk. Also, the aroma carries a nice subtle fruit aroma.Nice almost milky/lactic backing to this. A nice smooth sour brew. The sour is not overly sour, but there is a nice blackberry tartness. I don’t get overwhelmed by the fruity/tart blackberry as well, but this beer sure as hell compliments it well.

Growler courtesy of Shane (hophead84). At Strong Ale 09. Pours pinky pink with a pink head. Nose is amazing almost like blackberry bubblegum. Taste is sweet, sour and funky, with a captial F. Way to go Ron, keep the genius coming. bhensonb (15969) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 10, 2009
Tap at the brewpub. Pours purple/reddish/berry/copper with a creamy pinkish head. Medium body with foamy carbonation. It is definitely a sour (based on balck berry-12 months in oak - 6 months with berries). It is berry sour. There’s astringent oak. It’s wonderful. Growler courtesy of Shane (hophead84). Pours a beautiful mostly clear pinkish purple with a frothy pink head. Nose was slightly tart with blackberry, cran, rasp and cherry......some faint woody notes. Flavor held some tart berry fruits with an off dry finish. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - DEC 7, 2009
A big step up from their old black berry sour. Pours purple with a tall pink head. Big fresh juicy blackberry nose, you can tell this one will be sour. Black berry pie up front, fresh and tart, big lactic sour finish. The fruit really displays nicely in this, where as I thought the previous one the fruit came off watery. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - DEC 6, 2009
