On tap at the brewery. Pours a relatively clear orange gold with a medium sized white head. Soft toast, a bit of vanilla and cocoa on the nose. Medium bodied, soft cocoa, a bit of sweetness, vanilla, soft toast. Slow cocoa and a hint of roast. One of the better done “blonde” stouts I’ve had. Nice and tasty.

Draught at brewery. Pours golden yellow and then a big whiff and taste of coffee throughout. SudsMcDuff (8463) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - JUL 9, 2016
pretty awesome beer, taste and smell don’t match up at all with the golden amber look of this beer .. . lots of coffee, sugar, grain, and light toast notes .. . mouth is ample .. clean lighter finish .. . people say time is money- well I don’t buy that for a second chinchill (5183) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 5, 2016
On tap at Cascade Brewing Barrel House.
A surprising, bright clear amber body with a white head.
Loads of exceptionally appealing coffee aroma and flavor.
Lively carbonation to go with the medium body.

Tap at the barrel house. Golden orange pour. White head. Rich coffee aroma - terrific. Smooth taste, medium palate. Very nice. RedSox2004 (1951) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - NOV 1, 2015
Taster at the brewery. Clear gold with a two-finger dense white head that dissipates slowly and leaves very nice lace. Strong creamy coffee aromas with roasted malts and a touch of chocolate. Taste is similar, with a strong yet delicate coffee and lactose sweetness. Medium body and carbonation, creamy smooth mouthfeel, light carbonation and a soft finish. Very reminiscent of really good coffee ice cream. bhensonb (15515) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 21, 2015
Tap at the Raccoon Lodge. Pours dark gold with a white head. Coffee is primary in the aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is very coffee, with a hint of chocolate, and perhaps a touch of vanilla. Clearly one of the good coffee stouts, even if it isn’t black. :) gnoff (10713) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 5, 2015
Sampled on June 29, 2015. At the brewpub in Portland.brokensail (16609) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 30, 2015
Listed as 6% ABV.
Clear golden color, white head. Malty, coffee taste. Coffee aftertaste, some cocoa. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Mainly coffee scent.
On tap @ Cascade Barrel House. Golden colored beer with white foam. Smells like coffee and cream, that’s for certain. Some vanilla, hazelnut, and a touch of caramel. Fairly sweet, particularly like a hazelnut vanilla creamer sort of thing going on. Light spiciness of coffee, some cocoa powder, and plenty of actual coffee flavor. Not bad.
