Sample tray. Copper. Nice rye flavour but middle of the road hopping comes out more like an amber ale.

Draft at elliott bay pizza. Pours a clear dark rubied amber with brilliant golden bronze stripes. Mildly black bready nose with that subtle pepper from the rye. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Big fresh sliced bread mid palate with mildly spicy rye pepperish notes. Delicious and beautifully bodied.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cascade red hop rye. On tap at June... Pours a mostly opaque red toffee hue and topped with a creamy faintly off-white...Aroma of bready doughy caramel malts and subtle rye notes but barely coming through. After warming the rye and a light hoppiness surfaces a touch more ...Flavors of bready light spiced and bready caramel toffee malt, mostly sweet from beginning to end. Very little bitterness all around.
Lighter bodied overall but enough flavor to hold things up. Still lacking from a hop perspective and the flavor score reflects that. Not postitive is this should be added as a new beer (Cascade Red Hop Rye?)

Full amber with caramel-cream hopped froth cover. Zippy nose of freshly milled rye and citrus and fruit backed hops. Fruity and pleasltly dry rye crispness to the body. A favorable harmonizing balance between the grains and the hops, wetness and dryness.
