This saison was very straightforward--clearly used the Wyeast 3711 French Saison strain to a great end. Poured clear straw with a tight head. Aroma is of white pepper, some honey, pear and maybe some apple but pepper dominant. Taste is same. Refreshing frothy body with dry finish, Perfectly executed clean saison. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 25, 2012
Sample tray. Pale yellow. Soft nose with plenty of yeast. Belgian fllavour with soft pepper. Not an in your face Saison but one that you could drink a lot of. Travlr (24841) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 30, 2011
Draft at Saison de la Maison. Cloudy bright yellow, thick white head, massive lacing. Aroma of rising bread dough and lemon zest. Taste is hay, low carbonation. Nice. Alphadelic (2237) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 28, 2011
Listed as Saison del la Maison at the Portland barrel house - Sweet, lemony, green peppercorns and herbs. Menthol and greenery. Tasty but I wouldn’t go back. Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - APR 13, 2011
Tap at 16 Tons. Clear yellow pour with not much of a white head. Smells floral with some lemon, bread, light grapefruit. Tastes floral with some light licorice, lemon and bread. A lot more hoppy flavor than I expected from this one. One of the better non-sour beers I’ve had from Cascade.

Tap @ The Beer Mongers... Poured pale golden/yellow with a white head. Nose had some nice esters. Wish it was a bit drier, but some floral grassy tones, citrus, cracker malt and yeast spiciness towards the finish. dchmela (3064) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 28, 2011
Tap at the Barrel House, listed as Saison de la Maison. Pours a hazy gold. Musty, citrus, licorice and hints of pepper in the aroma. Taste is smooth malt, star anise, citrusy hops and licorice. Flavors blend well and made this my favorite Cascade beer. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAR 24, 2011
Draft at ncbc. Pours a gorgeous clear deeply burnished medium gold. Creamy and slightly bubbly platinum blond head. Very mild floral nose. Would look for more forceful phenols and aromatics here. Creamy medium body with subdued carb...would expect more carb here as well, really. Florals, a bit of cracker and biscuit on the midpalate. Well made, but seemingly lacking the yeast and bubble characteristics that define a saison. Im not one to ding for style deviations at all, but this does not seem deliberate in this case. Pleasant enough. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAR 23, 2011
On tap at uber. Listed as Saison de la Maision. The aroma is nice and spicy with a good deal of orange and lemon. Wheat malts as well. Pours golden orange, big frothy creamy head. The flavor is nice and fruity up front - I got oranges and lemons, notes of grass and pepper, spice, a light yeast notes, and dry wheat malts in the finish. Nice lingering floral hop notes. Moderate carbonation, fruity lasting finish. tokyogoat (1503) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 7, 2010
