2009 Project
Tasted in early 2012 from a corked and caged 750mL bottle shared by Curtis. Pours a red wine/tint of amber with an average tan head that leaves a thin collar of lace. The nose is dusty tart and sour red fruit, lemon peel, caramel malt, and a touch of chocolate. The flavor is very tart and lemon sour with red berries, bread malt, some caramel...overall very vinous. The body is medium and tannic with average carbonation and a long sour vinous finish.

From tap. Pours medium brown, white head. Lots of sour aromas and flavors. Sour cherries, malt, oak. Alcohol hits mid palate, wine really comes out in the long sour finish.

10.12% sour ale aged in wine barrels. First sour. Don't think I want another sour if they're all like this. Can taste the wine. And yes, sour! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Mikkeller Bar Aarhus. Wow, complex. Port, red wine, balsalmico, vinegar, oak, caramel, red berries, super tart, light sweetness, some burn in the aftertaste. Really nice sour red/brown.
