2016 Edition, 10.8%. Draught at the brewery. Cloudy, purplish, not much head. Lots of barrel, blueberry, esters, nice malts. Tart, mellow berries, good barrel. Acetic, bracing finish. I like it.

Tap at the Cascade Barrelhouse. Pours lightly purple red with bubbles. Lightly sour aroma - blueberries are in it. Med body. Slightly sour blueberry, maybe with plums, with mouth puckering bourbon/oak. Getting some red berry. Neat stuff. pictoman (1174) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 22, 2017

Unclear medium brown red colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, tart, sour, berries, medicine, blueberries. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, sour, berry, blueberries, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Draught at brewery. On nitro. A deep blueberry red color with lots of blueberries and red wine. stevoj (5367) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 24, 2017
Draft at the Barrel House. Purple hue, with pinkish foamy head. Nice jelly jar aroma, sweet and fresh. Taste goes a bit deeper into the berries, still sweet and very juicy. Again the tartness puckers, and then dries out your gums. Nice sweet jelly flavors linger, along with the dryness. These guys know their way around a sour, for sure. madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2017

Borefts VIII. Day 2. Keg. Light haze on this deep red beer, tidy pink head. Palate is light and fairly dry with a good fine crispness. Mildly tart blueberry with lesser blackberry and cherry. Light vanilla oak keeps things very approachable. Light finish. Hides the abv incredibly well. My kind of sour.
Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a hazy reddish brown with little life. The aroma is dough biscuit yeast. The flavour is moderate sour with crisp light refreshing big red berry fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Iznogud (4030) - CROATIA - DEC 28, 2016
