Bottle - Pours a clear, deep amber with a creamy head. Aromas of bread and caramel. Taste is muddled with a metallic finish. Average at best. BREWMUSKCLES (2687) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 24, 2014
looks and has the aroma of what an Irish ale should have. peat and malt in the taste as well with what is alcohol and unfortunately a little chemical. smooth though it bubbles like a sodapop with soft carbonation and a caustic midpalate that might be dish detergent. morphs back to a bit of peat. it is a damn good irish style brew. jrodooo5 (1672) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - SEP 20, 2014
Pretty pour but not much else! Cool mahogany look w/ a white head that leaves lacing. The aroma is quite plain & dry - all malt. The taste follows suit as it is quite boring w/ nothing really standing out! Pretty disappointing! TomTron (452) - South Carolina, USA - FEB 26, 2014
Pours a clear copper with little to know head. Slight hoppiness in the nose and a tiny amount of detectable malts. Decent hoppiness in the flavor, even a little more so than the IPA. Pretty drinkable but nothing I would go out of my way to buy. snoworsummer (5698) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 24, 2013
Bottle. Pours reddish amber. Smells like sweet malts with some hops and light fruit. Tastes like malty sweetness with some bitterness. Light body and medium carbonation.

12oz bottle. Pours a deep clear amber/red color with a thin off white head. Aroma of faint piny and citrus hops, with lots of caramel malt coming through. Taste of toasted caramel malt, a slightly herbal hop spiciness, and mild bitterness. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Thanks to someone for sharing this at bu11zeye’s 10,000th tasting in April 2012. Orange-amber pour with a white head. The aroma is full of wheat and oranges. The flavor is similar with some wheat, orange and lemon. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Bottle. Pours reddish brown with creamy beige head. Aroma is caramel and cookie malts, floral notes, berries, dates, and figs. Flavor is dry malts and some earthy hop bitterness, toast, and dark fruit esters; dry finish. Light/medium body and medium carbonation. PhatB420 (840) - Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 22, 2013
12oz into a pint. Pours a brown/amber, solid colors for autumn. Head is fizzy and encompassing and remains throughout. Taste is malty red, slight metalic, hops at a distance, and grass, soil, and harvest reflections. Another nice easy drinker from casco bay, Im sensing a theme here. Nothing too fancy, but enjoyable enough to reflect on the libations going down. Malts seems to entertain the majority of this brew as they should, and the red presence is above all the focus, again, to the point. This goes great with a pub mentality and even better if it was happy hour. BeerandBlues2 (13355) - Escondido, California, USA - JUN 21, 2013
Tap. Pours clear amber with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is buttery malt and light earthy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.
