Bottle thanks to Big Squiggz. Pours a cloudy ruby with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, yeast, cherry skin, oak. Thin body, sweet cherry, funk, oak, acidic, tart, very good.

DLD17. Bottled 8/3/16. Glowing pink color. Juicy tart cherry aroma and flavor blended perfectly into the sour character of the beer. One of the more impressive beers from Casey.

Aroma of a good wine. Very smooth cherry beer, with tartness concentrate in the finish. Thanks Jason B.

The fruitstand ones might be my favorites, because they are balanced the with the base asn still taste like a saison. Red pour, nice real cherry aroma with some funk in there. Taste is saison, apples and spices with some cherry. Like cherry and apple jam. Its dry and tart. Awesome sauce.

750 ml bottle poured a hazy dark pink with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of straw, yeast, cherry and light funk. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of straw, cherry, light funk and a hint of citrus with a crisp dry tart lingering cherry finish.

From notes. This was enjoyed at Jolly Pumpkin on October 1 for Zwanze Day 2016! The pour is a cloudy darker pink/light red with a thick light pink head that fizzes away quickly. The aroma is incredibly funky. Like, fuck. There is a light cherry, but it’s very sweet and not what I’d like to see. There is a light dustiness on the finish. The flavor is again, full of funky sweetness. There is a light dusty mineral thing happening before the sweet cherries come back through. It’s a little messy, and I’m not digging it. The mouth feel is lighter and somewhat crisp with a bright carbonation and a funky, sweet cherry on the finish. This one I wish had a lot more tartness or sourness. The sweet cherries just didn’t do it for me.

750 ml bottle from Mile High Wine & Spirits. Cloudy, deep pink appearance with a small, dissipating white head. Aroma of sweet cherries, light barnyard funk and hints of vanilla and oak. Similar flavor, fresh, fruity, sour and sweet with a tart, puckering mouth feel. Light to medium body with a crisp feel. Delicious.
