750 ml corked and caged bottle purchased at Aspen Wine and Spirits in Aspen, Colorado. Label on bottle with Bottled on 7/11/16. The pour is a slight haze golden ruby pink, along with a smallish white pinkish head. The aroma is cherry fruit, tart, funky and a gentle earthiness. The taste is the cherry, very sour tart, with funky yeast notes and the earth carrying the finish. As the beer warms, oak becomes evident and it and the yeast character take over for the initial cherry blast. Interesting beer, lots of layers going on.

Some sour cherry like losing your virginity when you are too drunk to remember, and integrates super well. Pours hazy pink with good head and lacing. Tangy finish.
