cubs (10746) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 25, 2017
2015 bottle at home shared with Justin. Hazy light yellow appearance with a white head. Aroma is fairly herbal and grassy with some apples and pears along with white grapes, funk, and effervescence. Moderately tart. Carbonation is a bit low but it’s actually no problem. Lots of funk and oak. A bit of cheese. Refreshing, tons of funk, and overall, very delicious. I think the age (unintentional) really added a lot of funk and character. Way better than I was expecting from a grape saison.

hopdog (13606) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 17, 2017
750ml bottle (11/24/15). Poured a hazy golden color with a smaller sized head. White grapes, citrus, some funk, and a lighter tart finish.

neongolden (2259) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 2, 2017
(On tap @ CBC 2016 Yellow Session, Copenhagen) Pours a hazy dark gold with a big white head. Nose of cheesy funk on top of white grape flesh and skins relatively subtle actually, with an almost smoky character to the wood coming through from the barrels. Flavour is quite tart and a bit vinous, with a citrusy lactic acidity and a touch of acetic acid to it as well, like a lightly soured white wine. A little mineral, but not super crisp. Funk is lighter than the nose. A puckering acidity to the finish. Medium body, smooth carbonation. Not pure grape, integrated with the base, not crazy drinkable but quite nice.

Pale cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and light funky with lemon, grape skins, apple, gooseberry skins, oak, light spices and grain. Taste is light tart fruity, very light soft sweetness. Light to medium bodied, average carbonation. Slightly dry finish with grape skins, oak, tart lemon notes, hints of spices and a light funky note.

hopscotch (11552) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 26, 2016
UPDATED: APR 20, 2018 Bottle... This beer rocks!... Murky, pear-colored pour. The aroma is a fruity, vinous and bright mélange of apples, oak and white wine. Full-bodied with adequate carbonation. This is sour as Hell. It's also quite fruity with a gentle oaken note. There are bushels of Granny Smith apples and gallons of dry white wine in the sour, fruity, vinous flavor, and tangy finish. World-class beer!

750 mL bottle. Hazy orange with no head. Nose has that little bit of bubble gum yeastiness. Light grape and a bit of acidity. Tastes really nice. White grape, a little green apple tartness, oak. Grainy malt profile. Light body with medium carbonation. Delicious.
