Bottle at 2017 year end Ottawa bash...last bottle after regular and advanced oak. Hazy dark gold with a bubbly white head. Tart dried lemon rind, epson salt, apricots, light sulphur, brett, some vinegar, strong body and mild+ carbonation, intense finish that overwhelms. Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a medium size head with limited retention. Aroma of tart and sour notes with some oak and light fruity notes. Taste is a mix of tart notes with some oak, some acidic notes with some light funky notes and subtle notes of apricot. Body is about average with OK carbonation. A lightly hazed pale blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, pleasant tart fruit with light Epsom salts, apricot, very nice. Bottle... Cloudy florescent straw with yellow and no head. Citric key lime and lemon with a little cracker malt. Medium-bodied w lazy. Crazy citric, sour and super fruity with a splash of straight-up lemon juice. Tart, acidic, lightly vinegary finish. I’m not picking up much of the burnt rubber-like autolysis that everyone else at the table is griping about. My nose might be off... or not. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

Lightly hazed yellow with a decent off white covering.
Nose is tangy apricot, funk, damp straw, lemon drizzle, grains.
Taste comprises sharp apricot jam, pissy citric peel, straw, yeast, barnyard, funk, light balsa wood, lemon rind, fruit balsam.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a rising acidic pucker.

Merci à Alexandre pour le partage! Bière à l’apéro en préambule d’un faste dîner. Robe bien trouble coiffée d’une tête moyenne. Nez typique de la Maison: beaucoup de funk vif et frais. C’est doux et très légèrement sulfureux. Beaucoup de noyaux dans ce bouquet. J’ai vraiment l’impression qu’un noyau ait été fendu en deux tant domine l’amande. Effervescence vive, bulle rapide, funk vif et boisé. Le fruit se conjugue parfaitement à cette barrique grouillante de vie. 3 oz pour at Hops & Pie. Hazy, pale yellow appearance with minimal head. Aroma of sour notes, stone fruits and funky yeast. Similar flavor, huge sourness and delicious apricot fruitiness with a tart, puckering mouth feel and a lingering sour finish. Light bodied, refreshing and just amazing overall. 750 mL bottle. Hazy yellow body. Smell is sharp apricot and lemon acidity. A bit of burnt rubber. Taste is quite sour. Sour apricot. White wine. Oak. The burnt rubber flavor isn’t as strong here, but still pops up in the finish. Light body with an aggressive sourness. While this one is better than the others from The Cut series, it still has some unpleasant flavors.
