Casey's Cream Ale is a premium example of the new, smooth, Irish-style ales that have recently become so popular. Full bodied and flavoursome, it is the combined characteristics of the Target and Goldings hops used with pure spring water that give Casey's Cream Ale its distinctive taste.

laiti (8481) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 23, 2013
Draught @ O’Connell’s, Tampere. Rated on 17.03.2010
Aroma is rather light with some hay, toffee and caramel. Flavour has toffee, some English hops, hay and biscuits. Easy‐going, straightforward and easy to forget.

I thought I was finally going to have my first cream ale, but then I noticed this was listed as a bitter…

rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 2, 2009
Draught at Parnell’s (Kurvi), Helsinki, Finland. Deep golden colour with small creamy off-white head. Fruits and dry bitter hops in aroma. Bitter dry flavour. Smooth.

JK54B (1602) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 6, 2008
Draught at Parnells in Mikkeli. Nice creamy head. Pale copper brown colour. Mild metallic and malty nose. Taste roasted malt and burnt sugar. Mild hoppiness.

Archibaldo de la Cruz (1120) - FINLAND - AUG 3, 2008
Draught at Molly Malone’s, Lahti. Dark copper colour with a large lasting creamy head. Sweet and hoppy aroma. The flavour is a bit sweet and hoppy with notes of fruits. Aftertaste is hoppy. Medium-bodied and very smooth mouthfeel. Quite tasty brew.

Mild aroma of toffeish-malts and lemon. Same unpleasant lemon dominates malty flavor. Thin body.

FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 7, 2008
Keg (O’Connells, Tampere) Dark copper, tight keggy head. Tasted like the finish of the previous beer I’d had, which was about half an hour earlier. Fleeting hint of sweet malt. I think. Better than the tapwater because it has less flavour.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 22, 2007
Dark coppery colored, slightly cloudy appearance. Medium sized white head. Sweet, mildly roasted toffee aroma, let’s say noticable "Irish Smithwicks"-aroma, though this comes from England. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor has also toffee with mild licorice even, same creamy tone also in flavor. Drying aftertaste with slight caramel.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 12, 2005
Draught. Copper coloured, caffrey’slike huge white creamy head. After "settling a few minutes" it is still big and creamy, and the creamy head lasts until the beer ends. Fruity aroma with hints of hops and also some caramellishlike hints. Fruity and caramellish flavour. It’s very sweet also. Hoppy and fruity aftertaste. Good carboration and pleasant in most ways.

TBone (17556) - Pori, FINLAND - MAY 9, 2004
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2005 Draught
Clear nut brown, mahogany. Perfect off-white creamy and steady head. Mild aroma, a bit soapy, weak coffee. Light to medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Not much roast - watery. Quite similar to Kilkenny but thinner and weaker mouthfeel. (3/4/6/4/10 2.7)
Re-rated draught
Nut brown, flowery nose. Light-bodied but a good amount of flowery Goldings hops is present. Totally different than in my first sample - it was Irish Ale, this was more like a bitter. (6/3/6/3/12 3.0)
