light golden color, aroma of wheat, tart fruits, grain, wheat, flavors of grain, bread, wheat, tart fruits, some funk, kind of like crunch berries, very light drinker with great flavor
Draft... Cloudy golden ale with a mid-sized, wispy, white head that never quite fades away. The nose is lemony and bready with only a whisper of rye. Medium-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. Sour, lemony, lightly grainy flavor. Crisp, tart finish. The rye is way subtle. Stupid refreshing and a real joy to drink either standalone or as an accompaniment to dinner or brunch. dchmela (3089) - Orlando, Florida, USA - DEC 10, 2012
Tap at Brewpub. Pours a murky light yellow with a white head. Aroma is old yeast, like the bottom of the fermenter. Taste is light an tart, lemony. Love the taste, but aroma was awful. BVery (11514) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Tap at the brewpub. Light hazy yellow pour with a white head. Outstanding Berliner! Bold sour and tart, super flavorful. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 26, 2012
On draft at Cigar City. Pours a light yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is light wheat, some spicy rye, and light tartness with some citrus. Flavor is similar with light wheat, some rye, some tartness, and some citrus. Interesting take on the berliner with rye. Light to medium in body and very interesting overall.

On draft at CCB, poured a light hazy golden yellow color, aromas of lemon zest, must, sour wheat, and light funk. Flavors are tart lemony wheat that had a zippy aftertaste. Easy drinker for sure, and could enjoy this one all day. deyholla (12702) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2012
On tap at Cigar City. Pours a pale yellow gold with heavy haze and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of wheat with a bit of light tartness underlying. Flavor starts out with sour light fruits that last throughout and has a bit of musty wheat that helps to balance in the finish. Drinkable.
