Cask & Larder The Black Eye a worthy representation of a brew you might get from across the pond. Pours dark with a tight tan creamy head. Aroma is light but roasty. Taste is a combination of chocolate and caramel with a touch of coffee. The brew leaves a cola-like quality on the tongue. The Black Eye will satisfy. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Draft at Cask & Larder. Black pour with a creamy tan head. Aroma of huge roasted malts, bitter chocolate and French roast coffee. Flavor has huge roasted malts, hints of smoke, and bitter chocolate. Medium bodied with nice carbonation and not lacking in flavor. Great Stout.
