MOARBEER (94) - WALES - APR 28, 2015
Brought back from Korea by my mate. Fizzy pale lager with almost zero taste. My first Korean beer, happy days!

Bottle. Faint metallic aroma. Pours golden with a small white head. Rice , metallic notes, bubblegum? Very thin with a watery finish. Not good.

cagou007 (1167) - FRANCE - APR 17, 2015
Pours clear yellow with thin white head. Almost no smell. Light malty aromas. Medium carbonation, light body. Very short finish. Watery and insipid like most of industrial lagers.

Bottle->shaker at Bon Chon Chicken. Pale yellow with small white head. Piss water. Only good for washing down spicy food.

640ml bottle from a Korean supermarket in Chicago proudly proclaims this as "Korea’s #1 Beer: Ultimate refreshment with fizzy and crisp taste" Pours a clear pale yellow with big fluffy white head that never quite disappears, but doesn’t leave much lacing either. Aroma has grass, corn, and cardboard malts. Taste is on the sweet side, with no taste of hops or any bitterness in the finish. Body is light and watery with lots of carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. It gets worse as it warms up. Overall, another boring pale lager which could have come from any country. If this is #1 in Korea, it suggests that Korean’s don’t have many good alternatives.

Erzengel (8702) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - FEB 26, 2015
330ml bottle from a Korean shop in Düsseldorf. Sweetish and very grainy beginning. Nearly no bitterness there, not even in the end. Lots of grain, moderate sweetish with an abrupt ending. Not deep. Strange brew. As there is no bitterness in the end (absolutely none), something is missing.

Drank this from a tabletop draft system at Beer King in Seoul, South Korea. Very light aroma with a little hay and almost no hops. Crystal clear straw under a pristine white cover that drops relatively quickly. Smooth light malt flavour that is slightly lagery, but with extremely low bitterness and hops flavour. Smooth, medium high carbonation, easy to drink, but extremely boring.

waiake (606) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 2, 2015
330ml bottle at O’Kims bar mild grainy aroma taste is crisp dry watery pretty flavourless overall

Ethanolist (10) - - DEC 1, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2014 Light yellow pour, watery taste, overcarbonated crispy body, pale flavors of malts and corns, hop character is undetected, head disappears very quickly.

You know, I like some of those low-rated and thin beers. Beside a meal they sometimes are really fantastic and hit some points. This one not. It is thin. Ok. It is watery. Ok. But it also offers some skunk and the cheapest rice you may imagine in the aftertaste. Disgusting. Awful. No surprise, you see.
