Now this is the shit dreams are made of. When you do, as you would, as we shall, need a tipple to just take you somewhere, do it with style and take the lead, well Sir, 1PA. There’s just nothing to it. A single hop rings clear, explaining what Cascade is all about, on a caramel unchallenging but supportive backbone of malt. There. I said it. Malty backbone. Say what you will about hipsters and their crazy hop fetish, this is pale ale made right. Smash. majormax (12) - - APR 11, 2014
I wasn't sure if one malt could hold up cascade hops on it's own, but this is a well balanced, flavourful, and sessionable brew. Cascade, as always, is great on the nose. It is easy on the palate, and finishes with a dry, but not too dry, finish. Thoroughly enjoyed. sustainableale (3) - NEW ZEALAND - SEP 13, 2011 does not count
Pours clear with orange glow, crisp white head. Beautifully clear aroma, tastes of citrus with strong malt backbone. Delicious and very drinkable – a session beer, but not for the faint hearted. The concept is clear - single malt and single hops - the result is outstanding ckelly (4) - - JUN 11, 2013 does not count
Nice golden colour Poured to a good head. You can taste the cascade hops there, comes through in citrus nose also. Nice malty background and bitter mouth finish. Liked it Samtzu (707) - Palmerston North, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 23, 2017
Tap pour. Pours a murky gold with white head. Strong hoppy nose which is very clearly cascade. Medium body which is immediately sweet and slowly fades to a very slight bitterness. Much more malt forward then hop.

Aroma: citrus. Appearance: golden, clear, white foam. Taste: very bitter, citrus hop flavours aplenty. Palate: light body, lively, long bitter finish. Overall: Huge amount of Cascade hops go into this beer ( I should know i help brew it) and you can tell the whole thing screams citrusy hops. gnat2006 (12) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 15, 2011
Pint at the brewbar. Nice golden pour with strong aroma of citrus and flavour of citrus and fruit. A wonderful example of keeping things simple and if this can be achieved with a single type of hops, then they are to be congratulated. They clearly know what they are trying to produce with this beer, and it certainly works. It also helps to be served by staff with such a passion for their product. A good experience, and there’s not many of them in Christchurch at the moment! Rulymel (302) - SPAIN - SEP 11, 2013
Ambar colour with a thin head that disappears quickly.
Fruity and citrus aroma well balanced. Hops notes.
It is a classic IPA, midium bitterness, fruity and tasteful. Good finish plenty of hop.
A great beer. Cantabrian (1171) - Christchurch NZ, now Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JAN 24, 2014
Taster, at CBD. Ultra fruity on the aroma, with peaches and lychees. Fruity and perfectly balanced with hoppy & grassy bitterness. I must have a pint on its own to enjoy it better. Luvystypotables (2163) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - APR 3, 2016
A perfume like floral aroma with distinctive citrus notes, hints of tropical fruit and hops. Pours a good looking clear gold color with a lasting white well laced head. A floral hops taste with a dry feel and a bitter hops finish.
