330 ml. bottle @ Little Ethiopia during Enkutatash apparently first day of Ethiopian New Year. I quite liked the food but this is just your average African Pale Lager. Clear orange with little head. Nose is sweet oily & syrupy corn and sugar, faint vegetables, far too sweet. Taste is sweet oily corn & candy, metallic, poor far too sweet nasty oily corn, sugar, quite tiresome after a while. Body is far too oily, sweet, soft carbonation. Psytron (2288) - Turku, FINLAND - AUG 27, 2016
Mild smell of straw. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma of malt, sweet fruit, maybe peach. Mildly bitter. solidfunk (8965) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - FEB 4, 2016
Also not bad, but not as good as Hebesha or Harar. So many choices in Ethiopia and they’re all the same... adamnowek (2727) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 21, 2016
Typical lager from a country where beer isn't popular. Grassy aroma. Dry and bitter finish. BeerandBlues2 (13354) - Escondido, California, USA - DEC 12, 2015

This beer surely is not pretty nor is it the most tasty, but we are talking about a beer in Africa. It surely is a drinkable international lager and fine when drunk in the hot sun. Grzesiek79 (4300) - Radom, POLAND - JUN 4, 2015
Bottle beer from Beers of Europe. Piwo bez etykiety z owijka na szyjce. Brak informacji o zawartosci alkoholu itp. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - APR 30, 2015
courtesy of Jonathan Haile Jacobson - clear bronze beer with a modest foam left; corny with light notes of vegetables; tart and medium-bodied; light dry and corny, light peanutty finish Pyrmir (6107) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - APR 14, 2015
On tap at the airport in Addis. Tasted like a german pilsner, fairly sweet and malty but with more hops and higher bitterness. Not too bad DSG (14838) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 18, 2015
Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Mom for this bottle! Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grains, a bit of hay and a faint grassy hint. Sweetish grainy flavor with a papery hint and faint bitterness in the finish. Light-bodied. Pretty non-offensive and drinkable.
