Ahhh, nice aroma. Let it breathe a while and you get maple syrup notes. Nice head on golden body.......and then, wow!! this stuff is so friggin disgusting. This has got to be the sweetest golden bodied beer in the world. The sickeningly thick sweetness would just linger and finish longer than a Bergman movie. I could barely choke this stuff down. No light bodied beer needs to be this sweet. AWFUL! trappist12 (199) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - AUG 30, 2001
Delicious and smooth. Alot of citrus and herbal nose. Good accompaniment to a pasta dish with shellfish. Indra (2710) - Suburbia, Kansas, USA - AUG 22, 2001
Herbal/malty aroma. Rather hefty carbonation combined with a generous fluffy head. Bright yellow/golden color, of course. Filtered. Flavor is lightly fruity, with some herbal and vanilla notes. Very smooth palate, but still somewhat full-bodied beer. Not much bitterness to speak of, hops seem very subdued. Interestingly different brew. Very European tasting. joet (2672) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - AUG 15, 2001
Grassy aroma with citrus hues. It's malty and soft with a long finish.......
