dirty blond color. long lasting head. yeasty aroma which reminded me of belgians. Nothing great but not at all bad. JCW (1278) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 2, 2003
Very old bottle, 03/97. Barnyard aroma. Very sweet malty flavor. Light. Flavor as a little old lawn clipping flavor. Not bad. Volgon (2763) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 5, 2003
750ML bottle dated 03/07/03 drank on 05/05/03: Clear light yellow color with a small white head. Straw/grassy aroma with a touch of lemon and a bit of yeast. Fizzy mouthfeel, ends sweet and without much character. NYHarvey (2153) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 13, 2005
Sugared pears and a bit of malt sweetness. Poured a cloudy honey color. Very sweet flavor of pear. Almost no carbonation. Little bit of apple pie in the finish. Could use a bit more hop balance I think to balance a high level of sweetness, but not too bad all in all. kp (10881) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy yellow, medium white head, some lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, touch of spice. Flavor is also sweet malt, spice and a touch of fruit, mainly apple and some peach notes. Nice mouthfeel, smooth and enjoyable. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 20, 2011
750ml Bottle: Got in trade from phaleslu; Thanks Peter! Aroma of malt, grain, cereal, and hay. Poured yellow/gold in color with a large, creamy, dense, white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Clear. Sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of malt, grain, and little else. Light to medium body. Slick, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt and grain finish is light to medium sweet and lightly dry. How boring! Patrickctenchi (6692) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Clear, brassy gold with a whipped, off-white head.
Aroma is malt, grain, a little buttery.

Not bad, a little clingy sweet. csaso (2328) - Missouri, USA - DEC 4, 2013

A very nice blond. Has a bit of lemon above an earthy background. The flavor is crisp and refreshing. The finish is dry. A very good summer thirst quencher.
