750 ml bottle best by: 25/11/10.
Pours a clearish blond with a tall, foamy white head that leaves some nice lacing.
The smell is ultra fruity with a thick sugary sweetness.
The mouthfeel is nice and decently full-bodied. It has a great clean grain flavor with a hint of fruitiness. It is light, but full-bodied, a great summer brew.
This is one of the better Biere de Gardes.

Pours medium gold with a thick white head and ok retention. Aroma is bready and doughy with nice floral notes and mild banana esters. Very nice. Flavor is full bodied and crisp with nice floral notes and a heavy sweet breadiness. Mildly hopped to balance the sweetness. Really good.

Bottle. Gold Pour. Inch head. Subtle floral grassy fruity aroma. Taste is bready, fruity and slightly pleasantly sweet. Body is light. Carbonation is medium to heavy. Good beer. AxlLives (288) - Maryland, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Tap pour - @ RHP. Pours yellow gold, nice medium white head. Tastes of beautiful cool malts, complex yeasts, and spicy hops. Good long bodied palate and great balance. Very good. Hookemwahoo (13) - Texas, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Had this at Disney World of all places. Not your average blonde with malt and caramel notes, a slightly less sweet, but arguably more delicious blonde beer.

From old tasting notes. Deep brassy gold color. Large bubbly white head. Light malt aroma. Wonderfully flavorful toasted sweet malt has fruity notes. Hints of grapes and honeydew melon. Bittersweet hop finish. Very good. scarletfire65 (1534) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 15, 2012
Bottled Jan. 23 2009. Crystal clear deep golden, almost no head. The nose is very floral, green grapes, chardonnay, peaches. Light to medium bodied, nice sweet malt base, lots of apple cider and pear flavors, musty and earthy, and a grassy and slightly dry finish that tastes of dusty hops. Nicely balanced, nicely aged, very sophisticated. corpsuckle (101) - Washington, USA - JAN 4, 2014
UPDATED: JAN 11, 2014 Haven’t had many French beers... This one was great! I thought it was a nice balanced example of the style; not overbearing in any aspect. I’ll be buying more of this one. Davhgbrew (948) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 6, 2014
Dark golden appearance. Aroma of the winner’s circle in Amesbury. ..basically a dingey sports bar that had pool tables in the basement. Sips medium bodied with moderate liveliness, slightly champagne like palate. Yeasty, bready, and leaning towards malt driven flavors. Finish is moderately dry and crisp showing off the refreshing qualities. Nice brew, prob really good with cheese and light fish. Jabic (735) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - JAN 24, 2017
Ar: Grass and pils malt, a touch of oxidation (lightly papery); hay and grass notes, with herbal hop aroma; a touch of lager-like sulfur. Ap: Straw-gold and crystal clear; medium-large white head with good retention, leaves a ring of foam with a thin, patchy covering on the top. T: Lightly sweet pils malt up front; clean, firm maltiness; very few esters, just a hint of apple, peach, and bitter orange; low bitterness, with herbal, noble hop notes; clean, warming alcohol taste toward the finish; a fair bit of musty oxidation. P: Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation; finish is dry. O: Classic blond biere de garde; pronounced malt character and low esters, with a nice mix of hay and grass, providing a bit of a rustic edge; nice hoppiness as well, with a spot-on appearance and mouthfeel.
