Amber, quite clear, white frothy head. Smell of dust, light malts, some fruity yeast and caramel. Moderate sweet, malty, some caramel, some yeast notes, moderate bitter finish. A bit better than the blonde version

Aroma: caramel, red fruit, butter, roasted nuts; Appearance: clear orange, large foamy head; Taste: medium bitterness, medium sourness, slight sweetness; Palate: greasy texture, medium body, abrupt finish, fizzy carbonation A non-obtrusive bockisch ale. French can brew!

Borostyán szín, malátás és karamellás illat. Habja sűrű és fehér, hamar szerte oszló. Íze édes, nem túl kellemes....

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Pours brown to brown with a medium head, aroma of caramel, toffee, dried fruits, flavor of caramel, toffee and dried fruits, light bodied.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2015 330ml bottle served in a tumbler glass. A: Pours a clear copper amber color forming a big bubbled and fizzy light yellow head that dissipates quickly leaving lots of thin lingering and soapy lacings in the glass. S: Strong notes of toffee and caramel malts. Very malty. Notes of roasted malts too. A bit metallic followed by a good perfume of flowery hops. Hints of honey and dark dry fruits (date fruit). T: Slightly sweet upfront. Notes of toffee, caramel malts, crystal malts, roasted malts, candi sugar, honey and dry date fruit. Metallic notes in the mouth too. Good hops bitterness to the style. Grassy hops profile. M: Light to medium body. Medium carbonation. Toffee and grassy hops in the aftertaste. Not persistent aftertaste, BTW. O: Good drinkability. Strong malt character beer. Reminded me more a Lager than an Ale.

Bottle 0,33 l, Carrefour, Zielona Góra, Poland. Bursztynowe, mętnawe piwo z grubą, puszystą, kremową, sztywną i trwałą pianą oraz ziemistym, słodkawym, owocowym aromatem. W smaku gęste, słodowe, trochę ziemiste, zdecydowanie owocowe z łagodnie biszkoptowym posmakiem.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Stas’ place. Thanks Excellent Little Brother for the delivery! Clear dark amber with beige head. Sweet, honey aroma. Sweet honey mead-like taste. Medium body, sweet finish. Probably spoiled, but I kinda liked it anyway.
