Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (190208)

Århus2008. 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden copper coloured. Vague malt aroma. Flavour is sweet and towards breadish with a minor metallic note. Light bitterness into the finish. Medium dry and slight bitter finish. Well brewed, just not interesting.

Ungstrup (38238) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2003
An amber beer with a fine but fast disappearing head. The aroma is sweet with notes of strawberries, fruit, and red currant. The flavor is a dry sweetness with a lot of nuacesses: strawberries, red currant, other berries, and earth. It is only slightly bitter but more dry and acidic in the aftertaste. A really good beer.

joergen (28949) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2005

Bottled. Coppery amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, slight mustardyness and raisins. Flavour is big malts along with some slight raisins in it. Quite watery. The aroma was more promising...

omhper (25539) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 19, 2003
Bottled. Nut brown. Funky, lightly estery malt aroma. Dry and grassy, medium bodied, notes of berries. Bitterish finish with some honey.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Dry and crisp palate. Lightly toasted malt. Refreshing and inoffensive.

Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2005
(Bottle 75 cl) Dark, slightly cloudy amber coloured with a tall head. Pronounced sweetness with soft notes of caramel. Not much bitterness. Delicious and very drinkable. 260903

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, würzig, hefig. Geschmack fruchtig süß, würzig malzig.
