Mashy aroma, a touch of banana. Deep orange, tight persistent head. Nasty papery taste. In the finish too. Not refreshing - give me a nordic pale lager rather than this.
Bottle at ÅBF08. Weak malty flavour, quite grainy. Hazy brown colour. Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2014
Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Slightly hazy amber color, small off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, a touch of dark fruits and raisins, figs. Average body and carbonation. Meh. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2006
Bottle 50cl. Red/brown. Malty, sweet, berries, dry... you know the story. But i also tasted: Earthy, mould, like the aroma of a wet gym-towel, after two weeks in a plastic bag... gunnfryd (14876) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 31, 2008

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, oxidation (chocolate, cardboard, honey) and some fruitiness. Sweet oxidized flavor with caramel, stale chocolate, honey and some fruitiness. Medium-bodied. imdownthepub (14554) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2003
This was the 75cl corked bottle. Lovely reddy colour, with fading head, no lacing on glass. Flavour reminded me of a Belgian red beer with a slightly sour note leading into a rich malt. It fizzes a little but the flavours come through to give a very satisfying drink. Enough alcohol to count which improves the overall impression. Borup (14494) - Albertslund, DENMARK - MAR 8, 2007
Bottle. Dark amber colour with a nice off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, fruti, spice and hops. HenrikSoegaard (14175) - Randers, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2005
