Bottle. Pours with a cloudy lemony body with a thick white head. The aroma has hints of clove, cinnamon, lots of dry spices. The taste, has some hint of hops, mostly clove and some fresh herbs. Not bad, a pretty tasty white ale

’Tesco Finest French Wheatbeer’. Very pale wheat beer. Unusual - pronounced cloves. A hint of coriander. The barest hint of orange. Frothy, light and champagne dry.
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2011 There are interesting champagne flavours in this otherwise bland, lifeless and watery pale beer. Probably best drunk well chilled on a hot day. [2.8] Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUL 1, 2012
I’m now drinking it well chilled a couple of days later, and, indeed, it is a pleasant, fruity, fragrant and refreshing beer. Nice. [3.2]
from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier - hazy blond beer with a persistent white foam; coriander dominates with notes of straw behind; moderate and subtle carbonation; medium-bodied; short corny finish with more notes of coriander jercraigs (10886) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 7, 2004
Very pale hazy ellow with a slight foamy white head. Aroma is of cheese on a summer saled. Rollercoaster of unidentifiable flavours including a lemony citrus, lots of yeast and something very wierd. Bizarre beer, and I am perhaps being a bit more generous than the others who tried this sample will be. Mondial 4T (Capflu).

750ml bottle from Sainsbury’s. Cloudy yellow in appearance, head a bit fizzy, dissipates fairly quickly. Better on second pour with yeast swirl. Aroma yeasty, subdued wheat beer notes of coriander, orange, clove, but pinapple and something grainy and fresh, and something slightly metallic coming through. Chalky finish. Not bad, not great. harrisoni (19318) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 3, 2006
75cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Cloudy, pale gold/green colour with lasting white head. Wheat, lemon and soapy hop aroma. The soapiness is just a bit too dominant. It has all the makings of a good blanche, but just fails. omhper (25740) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 20, 2007
Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Hazy pale yellow, rich head. Fairly sweet and light bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Some freshening light citrus, but the flavour is well light, resulting in an almost thn mouthfeel and a light metallic touch. Still it works as a very light refreshing summer quencher, sort of Hogaarden light. stegosaurus (1882) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2007
Bottle sampled. Pours hazy pale golden with a good size white head. Aroma of fruit, citrus, and spices. The flavor is sweet, spices, fruit, citrus, and has a watery body. johndoughty (5543) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2005
Cloudy upon pouring.Slightly fruity taste with nothing really intersting to say about it. A boring witbier and certainly the worst Ch’ti beer I have tried.
