From the 750 in a somewhat random northern French estaminet called Diablotin. Poured a hazy golden-amber. Sweet malty nose with some floral hints. Mildly sweet with a light bitterness on lively carbonation. Struck me as nice with food but not one I’d need much of.

The label says in 2016 it was rewarded with a bronze medal in paris. This is indeed not a bad blond beer. Colour is nice clear golden, small head, disapears fast. Castelaim brewery uses nice hops. This beer has a nice combination between malts and hops. Bitter with nice sweetness. Don't drink to cold and one will discover a wide palet of different tastes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear golden color with a two finger wide white frothy head. Aroma of malt with grassy and floral notes. Some fruit as well. Taste a mix between sweet and bitter. Soft carbonation, medium body and Watery to oily texture.

Bottle in the Dordogne. Easy drinking blond, with just enough malt sweetness and a very light amount of yeast character to sneak in as a restrained Biere de Garde. Nothing too complex, but quite nice.

Bottle 33cl. poured into a shaker. Clear deep golden, mid-sized frothy off-white head, dissipating slowly, fair lacing; aroma, toasted malts, toffee, fudge, honey, whisky, dough; smooth taste, light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, toffee, fruity; sweetbitter aftertaste, bit peppery, light alcohol; medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation; a smooth bière de garde, easy to drink, up till now the best Ch’ti.

2.5
DraftDodger (1458) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2017
Provence 14/5 2017. 75 cl bottle from Spar shared with friends. Simple label with brewing equipment, Corn Ears and hops. Pours clear yellow with bubbly white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving what looks like bubbly urine sample. No lacing. Aroma is malts and cheap metal. Strong carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is quite sweet. Followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is mostly sweet. A quite ordinary way too sweet beer - and a bit of an disappointment.

From old tasting notes. Bright brassy gold color. Small creamy white head. Spicy toasted malt nose. Sweet, earthy toasted malt flavor. Nicely rounded dryish malt finish. Very tasty with a warming mouthfeel.

Poured from a bottle light yellow with a sizable head and strong carbonation, aroma that somewhat remainds wine, the taste is smooth but unremarkable
