COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - JAN 19, 2004
Dark brown/red body, tall white head. Nose is malt, nut and alcohol. Flavors are roasted malt and hay with a watery aftertaste. A quite weak beer.

andershn (90) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2003
0.7 L bottle. Brown with red tones and a short-lived, light brown head. Strong, sweet aroma with lots of prunes(/raisins) and some yeast. The taste was thin and watery with a medium length aftertaste of prunes and little bitterness. Not worth the price.

2.9
pilsnerrogge (2935) - Finspång, SWEDEN - OCT 4, 2003
Brown colur, rich head. Malty aroma with notes of cork. Sweet flavour with a touch of liquorice and anise.

2.3
fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 18, 2003
Dark amber color, big head. Light aroma of roasted malt and paper. Too simple taste, vegetable, very light roasted barley and caramel. Too simple palate.

3.4
Hansen (8587) - Assentoft, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2003
One of the better Ch'ti. Dark brown, fine yellow head. Malty aroma and a flavor with a note of laqurice.

Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2003
Dirt brown. Very boring. Sweet and one dimensional. Short lasting aftertaste. Don't bother.

Frank (4172) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 1, 2003
Translucent dark brown with a diminishing tan head with little lace. Smells great--almost bock-y with a molasses edge. I'm wondering if this is bottom fermented. Highly carbonated and somewhat light bodied with a little bit of bite. Sweetly earthy. Slightly bitter, slightly sticky finish with a slight alcoholic edge.

3.7
Dalle (1145) - Skørping, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2003
Light brown head that quickly diminishes leaving small lace. Very dark red-brown colou. Malt, raisins and chocolate in the aroma. Medium to full body. Taste is mostly sweet and chocolate, nice, but lacking a little something...

2.8
madsberg (11762) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2003
Bottled: Dark brown coloured. Quickly diminishing beige/light brown head. Aroma is vague malty and somewhat sweet. Has some caramel/chocolate notes, but they are hard to find. Flavour is very watery. Light sweet and malty. Some vague notes of chocolate. Is light bitter in the end.

2.3
Ungstrup (37330) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2003
A dark brown beer with a small fast disappearing head. The aroma is slight with notes of sweet malt and brewmash. The flavor is thin though sweet, prickling your tongue and has hints of black currant. It has next to no bitterness. A boring beer - try Ch'ti ambree instead.
