Bottle from Bello Vino shared with freinds at the Dilly Deli. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate toasted malty, toffee and small alcohol aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium balanced roasted flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. (750ml bottle) There are times when I wish my quest for new beers did not lead me to beers like this one. It is not a bad beer, but considering what else I could have gotten for my $13, I am quite disappointed. Medium tan head atop a clear, dark red-brown body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, nutty, some raisin. Taste is moderately sweet, nutty, caramel, cola, dark fruit. Finish is nutty and light coffee. Watery light-medium body with low carbonation.
