COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUN 1, 2005
This looks like weak coffee with a fizzy light brown head that soon reduces to a mere film. It has a mild malt nose that has a tartness to it. The body is quite light, near watery. The taste is somewhat sour, malty with plums. Not much to the finish, just a mild "dirty" maltiness.

charlotte (5416) - rødovre, DENMARK - OCT 16, 2008
Dark brownih colour with large beige fluffy head.Aroma of dried fruits, brown sugar and rosted malt.Light bitter with creamy mild finish.Tasty type of beer.

hotstuff (5233) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 29, 2005
Corked and caged bottle. Large fizzy tan head that was mostly lasting, fine-small sized bubbles, fair lacing, transparent, carbonated, and a reddish brown hue. Aroma was malty, caramel, and sweet and ditto for the flavor. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body. Nicely done and worthy of a try IMMHO.

ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 25, 2004
Dark brown colour with beige foamy head. Aroma and flavor was not that clear because of a too low serving temperature. Thanks too my mother anyway, she is trying her best.

Dirt brown. Very boring. Sweet and one dimensional. Short lasting aftertaste. Don't bother.

oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 28, 2010
Shared this one w/SkyCop32. Pours a hazy dark amber color. Aromas of sweet malt. Flavor of sweet malt(honey), alcohol tastes bigger than 6.4%. Dry finish and aftertaste.

jbrus (4989) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - JUL 13, 2008
[email protected] Roasted malts aroma. Dark brown color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, roasted, licorice, burnt sugar, laurel. Flavorful, well brewed, not exceptional.

2.6
SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - NOV 24, 2007
Bottle: Poured a dark brown almost black with a beige color head. Aroma is dark malt and roasted smell. Taste is a sweet caramel sugary grain malt.

presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 4, 2006
Another bottle from Poperinge’s Quebec trip. Fluffy brown head. Thick dark brown beer. Quickly thinning head leaves strong lacing. Vinegar like aroma similar to a Flemish Brown. Lightly airy body. Flavour is a mix of brown ale and Flemish. Light chocolate notes. Some grapes and cherries a the back of the palate.

2.8
Habanero (4798) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - DEC 3, 2005
Poured dark brown with a medium sized tan head. Malty aroma. Flavour of matls and sweet caramel. Medium bodiet. Has a discreet and bitter finish. Nothing special.
