Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a longlasting off-white head. Sweet malty caramel aroma with some spicy hints. Sweet malty caramel flavor with some spicy hints and hints of yeast. Sweet malty finish with caramel in the aftertaste.

Hansen (8601) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAR 10, 2007
Dark brown color, unclear. Has a beige head, medium lasting. Dark, malty notes. A little lactic note in both aroma and flavor. Flavor is mostly sweet. Medium body.

fonefan (49996) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 12, 2007
Bottle. Dark red / brown color with a large good lacing light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty and yeasty, suger / syrup. Flavor is heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

faroeviking (11024) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 22, 2007
Bottle. Nice brown colour with a good lasting light brown head. Malty and bit caramellic aroma with some spices. Soft flavour of caramel, roasted malts, spices, liquorice, raisins and prunes. Bit thin brew but still tasty.

turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - JAN 7, 2007
Pours dark reddish brown with a large irregular head. Lots of head with each re-pour (my glass was too small). Floral and fruity aroma, very smooth yeasty apple flavour. Excellent brune.

Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 7, 2007
(Bottle 65 cl) Pours a beautiful, clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow and a small, creamy, beige head. Quite full-bodied with rich, hard roasted and sweet malts. Accents of burned caramel and licorice and a wee hint of metal. No real bitterness. Lovely and very christmasy. 261206

thewolf (12706) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 25, 2006
Dark brown with little creamy head. Mild aroma with caramel and some liqouirice. Not much christmas in the taste - mostly caramel

bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 19, 2006
Merry Xmas! Deep dark ruby body with a large light tan head. Some cinnamon on the nose, also some liquorice and hints of dark fruits. Smooth taste that is a bit thin, metallic, rich chocolate notes and hardly notice the alcohol except for a slight warming on the finish.

pubbe (493) - Højbjerg, DENMARK - DEC 12, 2006
Bottle. Pours dark brown with light brown mostly lasting head. Aroma offers coffee, burnt malt and a little metallic note. Flavor adds a little sweetness and anis. Average finish. Well made beer, but have had better Biere de Garde.

petermadsen (390) - Vesterbronxxx, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2006
Long lasting off-white head and a nice but weak aroma of roasted malt, fruit and a slight cinnamon and choko note. Flavour is a bit thin with subttle roastiness, fruits and just enough acidity to clean your mouth. The body is a bit thin and the overall score is reduced a bit due to the lack of balls.
