Bottle. Dark brown colour, white head. Semi-sweet flavour, not spicy. Aftertaste of flat lager. Disappointing.

Very dark ruby/brown with a medium lasting offwhite head. Aromas of malt, caramel, molasses, and hay. Sweet with a balance of dark malt and hops bitterness. somewhat thin and watery.

swingtop bottle, 65cl, bbf 8-4-2006, tasted 15-10-2009 dark brown, smooth light brown head. sweet stale hops, faint cellar. this one didn’t age well. flavor is sweet, spicy, faint honey, stale hops, cellary and mouldy.

330 ml bottle. L4317. BB 22/3/08. Thanks to Semi!
This is a quite daring experiment as the BB date was 5 years ago. The colour is dark reddish brown almost black with small tan head. Looks pretty good. The aroma is very malty and rather sweet. It’s actually quite close to a Doppelbock or a Barley Wine. The flavour is quite the same. Sweet sugary flavour with lots of malt. Also some Coke notes there. As Pinball pointed out this one doesn’t age very well.

madsberg (11798) - Søborg, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2005
Bottled @ Fynske Øldage: Burgundy coloured. Light brown dense head. Sweet and malty aroma. Some spices and citric notes. Flavour as well is light spiced. Fruits and sweetness is present. A bit bland. Thin body. Ends on a fruity and light spiced note.

faroeviking (11331) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 22, 2007
Bottle. Nice brown colour with a good lasting light brown head. Malty and bit caramellic aroma with some spices. Soft flavour of caramel, roasted malts, spices, liquorice, raisins and prunes. Bit thin brew but still tasty.

pivnizub (10905) - Bochum, GERMANY - FEB 6, 2014
Bouteille(Merci, Monsieur professeur!):Copper coloured, very clear, big rocky off-white head, mild bisquity-fruity nose that is accompanied by a citric touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and pretty soft; sweetish citrussy-bisquity finish. Nothing wrong with - or very good by french standards…

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2007
The color is dark brown and the head is nice, but quickly disappearing, leaving a nice lace. The aroma is hoppy, malty and the mouthfeel is rather smooth and dry. the flavour is sweet and malty, with roasted malt. It has notes of candy sugar, coffee, port wine, dark, ripe fruits and the sweetness is sticky and cloying - far too much. The finish has light citrus, that helps a bit.
