Grovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 6, 2006
Bottle. Very dark, almost stout in its appearance. The head was impressive creamy like. Did not feel the Christmas like aroma, which some Christmas beer have. But still a nice sweet aroma. Some notes of dry fruit, yeast and spice, smoke and coffee. Thought palate was light bodied with a watery texture to it. Slight bitter maybe even sour finish.

FrankJohansen (3622) - Sabro, DENMARK - DEC 18, 2005
Brown colour with a light brown mostly lasting head. Aroma of coffee and caramel. Sweet malty taste. Light body, almost watery

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 6, 2004
Almost black colored, slight red tones. Little beige head. Aroma has some caramel and roasted chocolate, strong alcohol comes up too. Medium bodied, expected this to be fuller. Sweet caramel flavored with roasted tones, licorice and some spices, mild alcohol comes up in the end. Roasted flavor lasts. Crispy bite in the end with some dryness.

bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 19, 2006
Merry Xmas! Deep dark ruby body with a large light tan head. Some cinnamon on the nose, also some liquorice and hints of dark fruits. Smooth taste that is a bit thin, metallic, rich chocolate notes and hardly notice the alcohol except for a slight warming on the finish.

Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - JAN 10, 2006
65 cl bottle. No yeast at the bottom. Dark brown colour with a nice small head. Aroma of dried fruit, chocolate, yeast and spice. Light roasted flavour with some spice and little sour at the end.

jerohen (2379) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - DEC 23, 2003
Bottled, 0.7 liter, BB '97 (>8 years old). Very dark red-brown coloured, small lasting head. Aroma of a moisty cellar. Port-like flavour. This one doesn't age nearly as well as the Cuvee de Noel Blonde, after 8 years it's definitely past it's peak. But probably it's just not a very good beer.

Stefano (2046) - Thisted, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2006
Brown colour with a baige head. Dark fruits aroma. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of berries, but also spices again with cinnamon standing out and again with hints of acidity.

jfm (1724) - Holbæk, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2004
Deep brown color with a slight off white head. The taste is sweet and light spicy but very thin and boring.

onystrom (1334) - Magellan Hunter! - Skanderborg, DENMARK - DEC 20, 2005
Beautiful dark color with fine lasting head, coffey aroma. Too carbonated and very watery - almost no taste - and not very x-mas like.

Dalle (1145) - Skørping, DENMARK - JAN 18, 2005
Bottle. Dark brown with nice beige head. Quite malty, chocolate, roasted bitter finish, medium bodied. Certainly drinkable, not outstanding.
