Pours dark reddish brown with a large irregular head. Lots of head with each re-pour (my glass was too small). Floral and fruity aroma, very smooth yeasty apple flavour. Excellent brune. LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 21, 2005
Very malty French Bière de Garde with some hints of Christmas-like spices. Somewhat sweet but nonetheless a quite decent beer - I like it. dornoy (701) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2007
Thin head on dark brown body. I was a little skeptical, but it turned out to be anexcellent Yulebeer. I drank it with pleasure, and all guest approved. PetetheMeat (621) - Hove, DENMARK - JAN 31, 2006
Dark brown. Beige, greyish tall head. Great lookd. Malty sweet aroma. Good carbonation. Rich, malty flavour. Notes of smoke. Very sweet. Faint notes of chritsmas spices in the finish. Hides the ABV very well. Light brew, great drinkability, very well balanced... Dont drink and ride reindeers... pubbe (493) - Højbjerg, DENMARK - DEC 12, 2006
Bottle. Pours dark brown with light brown mostly lasting head. Aroma offers coffee, burnt malt and a little metallic note. Flavor adds a little sweetness and anis. Average finish. Well made beer, but have had better Biere de Garde.

Long lasting off-white head and a nice but weak aroma of roasted malt, fruit and a slight cinnamon and choko note. Flavour is a bit thin with subttle roastiness, fruits and just enough acidity to clean your mouth.
The body is a bit thin and the overall score is reduced a bit due to the lack of balls. IvanLauridsen (32) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 19, 2005
Ligth brown head. Sweet aroma of malts, spices and caramel. Light body. very watery.
