Corked 750ml bottle from Sainsburys. Pours very pale, little head - quite hardly carbonated. Aroma is sweet, buttery and alcoholic. Flavour is very sweet and alcoholic with malt and a little bitterness. Not wonderful but pleasent and drinkable. Much, much better than I expected. rauchbier (3880) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2005
Bottle, from Sainsbury’s. Gold, shortlived thin white head and gentle condition. Sweet grain and honey aromas, soft perfumed grain and flowery honey in the mouth and a low fruity finish with hints of hop bitterness and alcohol.

Bottle, 7.5%. Clear dark golden colour. The flavour is nicely malty, slightly sweet, quite peppery. Has a little vegetable, but seems clean. Good peppery aftertaste with a rough, cleansing bitterness. imdownthepub (14441) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2009
Bottled, 750ml cork & cage, aged 4.5yrs. Gold with white head. This had aged well, still good condition with a light fruity aroma. The body had a deep fruity flavour, peachy and tangy, maybe a sharp apple note. Lacks a dryness, but really pretty decent and reasonably smooth with the aging. jice (366) - Grenoble, FRANCE - SEP 9, 2012
Un peu douce pour une triple, mais agréable quand même. Dommage que le col ne tienne pas, la mousse disaprait très vite.

On tap at Wildeman. Golden apple body with medium head. Nose is malty, skunky, sweet. Taste of hops, alcy, lots of spices. Quite nice. jaghana (6013) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle 33cl, a copper beer with good head and medium carbonation. Nose is grainy with light spice background. Aroma is on carmel and toasted notes, floral hops with grassy touch, toffee, unusual triple beer more like a "piere du printemps", easy drinkable lot of floral hops, caramel, nice.
Sigmund (7390) - Tau, NORWAY - APR 12, 2014
Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Clear deep golden to orange colour. Moderate aroma of spicy Belgian yeast. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is not as sweet as many other tripels, quite dry. Decent hops. Light bodied for its strength. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 10, 2014
Bottle. A clear one, with a dense white head of moderate size. Some alcohol in the aroma, with sugary malts and a generic fruityness. Pine cone notes. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Fruits, white sugar notes, a fine bitterness and some spiced, peppery notes in the flavor. Lasting fruity finish with a nice bitterness. A pretty nice one, although not up there with the best. 140510
